Runtime combined with virtualized server systems

Whenever Runtime is combined with any virtualized server systems, a specific networking configuration might be required.

VSphere virtualized environments often feature a networking configuration set to reject the so-called promiscuous mode. This mode is normally used by bridging and VPN operations intended to inject packets from any unknown and external MAC addresses to the system hosting virtualization.

Therefore, network configuration requires to change the settings of a host device to enable the promiscuous mode.
