Protection against domain change

UBIQUITY routers are compliant with the security standards of UBIQUITY Manager to protect both the installer and the end user against unwanted and non-authorized domain change attempts.

This means that the device registration domain cannot be changed, since the registration information is stored on the server once the device is registered. For this reason, the device is registered to the domain until it will be completely removed from the same.

Note: See Device move and removal for further information on this subject.

In case of non-authorized domain change attempt, a security block triggers, preventing the router from being registered to a domain and the Device Registration Tool will return an error message.

Restore Operation
