ASEM HMIs and IPCs

Industrial machines or units are mostly fitted with an HMI panel or an IPC, through which an operator on-site can control and manage the equipment.

ASEM HMI panels and IPCs embed UBIQUITY Runtime to establish a connection between local and remote devices.

HMI panels feature UBIQUITY Pro Runtime, while IPCs feature UBIQUITY Basic.
Note: See Runtime (for third party devices) for further information on this subject.

HMIs

ASEM HMI operator panels are split into two families based on their OS: a well-established software in the Windows CE environment and a software suitable for Linux, both with numerous proprietary features such as ASEM Smart Update. You can configure the ASEM HMIs through the ASEM System Manager and you can remotely access them through the UBIQUITY Manager. ASEM HMIs are equipped with high-performance ARM Cortex A8/A9 single, dual or quad core processors.

Note: For further information on the latest HMI panels and IPCs, see the documentation provided at the link Products - ASEM S.r.l. con Socio Unico.

iPCs

ASEM iPCs are highly configurable and exandable. They are based on Intel CPUs, starting from low power Atom CPUs, that are suitable for easier applications, up to Xeon platforms to allow for maximum performances, even in server applications.
