This section lists all of the operations that are being carried out through the Interactive Access Tool. It allows you to view and export any connection logs and the list of activities executed during remote assistance sessions. It is possible to establish more connections simultaneously from the same Interactive Access Tool, as each device is instantiated.
Note: The Log section is only compatible with the Pro licensing model.
In fact, the
Log section shows that the operations carried out by all of the connected devices. Nevertheless,
Interactive Access generates as many logs as the quantity of connected devices and stores them in a folder that you can access by clicking the
Open Log Folder button.
Note: The same folder also includes the operation logs generated by other
UBIQUITY Tools, however these latter do not feature a button directly linked to this folder. See
UBIQUITY Manager Tools for further information on this topic.
In Linux devices, you can export the connections logs in .txt format by clicking on the Export Device's Logs button. These logs contain the information displayed in the Log section.
Each log file name is made up of a unique device identifier and a final digit (that may feature decimals), from 1 to 3.
Note: The final digit following the unique device identifier stands for the log file version. In fact, every log file greater than 1MB is overwritten, and its version digit is progressively updated.
Considering that it is not always possible to record any operations associated with a device, a generic DeviceConnectionApplet log records any applet operations whenever no device is connected.
The log folder can store log files up to 10 MB.
