Router configuration through the UBIQUITY Legacy Router configurator

You can configure your UBIQUITY router through UBIQUITY Manager, System Manager or the UBIQUITY Legacy Router configurator Tool by using a USB memory stick.
When you install the UBIQUITY Manager Tools, you install also the UBIQUITY Legacy Router configurator Tool as well.

  1. Open the UBIQUITY Legacy Router configurator Tool.
  2. The UBIQUITY Legacy Router configurator includes the USB configuration mode. Select the USB button.
    The CONFIGURATION MODE > USB pane opens.
  3. Enter the router Username and Password.
  4. Select Next.
    The CONFIGURATION MODE > USB > CONFIGURATION pane opens.
  5. Fill in the required fields in the following tabs, depending on the features you want to configure:
    1. General options
    2. User accounts
    3. Domain registration
    4. WAN
    5. LAN
    6. Wi-Fi
    7. Modem
    8. VPN
    9. Serial port
    10. Internet sharing
    11. NAT Rules
    12. Routing rules
    13. Export connection log
    If you populate any fields in the sections above, the Export to USB checkbox get automatically flagged.
  6. Select Apply.
  7. Browse to the location where you want to save your configuration.
  8. Copy your configuration to a USB memory stick.
  9. Insert the USB memory stick into your router USB port.
    A UbiquityRouterConfig.xml file creates and the configuration transfers automatically.
