How to activate a license

ASEM HMIs, OptixPanel™, OptixEdge™, HMIs and UBIQUITY routers are already provided with a Runtime license, while you will need to purchase one for other devices.

Once a user has purchased a license, they will obtain a license key too.

  1. Access UBIQUITY Manager and select Explorer > Domain view.
  2. In the left pane, select the device for which you wish to activate your license.
  3. In the right pane, under the related Licenses section, click on the circled plus icon and enter your license key serial number to activate your license.
Note:
You can check whether a device is registered both through the UBIQUITY Manager on the right pane of the Explorer > Domain view section, or on the Windows Runtime, in the Home section.
